When you create an account, your name, address, email address and phone number are used to automatically fill in the checkout details for future orders.

Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at hello@bookadew.com and we will delete this information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the website can download the images from the website and view the location data.

When visitors use a contact form on the site, we collect the data shown in the contact form, the visitor’s IP address and the web browser to help detect spam.

Who has access to your data

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

Order information, such as purchased products, date of purchase, and delivery address.
Customer information, such as your name, email address, shipping and payment information.

Our team members have access to this information to complete, process orders, make refunds and support you.

How long we keep your data

We generally store data for as long as we need it for the purpose for which we collect and use it. We keep order information for 2 years, after this period the order information is completely anonymized. This information includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping address. Billing information is kept for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. This information includes your name, email address and billing address. For users registered on our website (if applicable), we also store personal information in their user profile. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and change this information. When you leave a comment, that reaction and the metadata of that reaction are stored forever. In this way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up responses instead of having to moderate them.

What rights do you have over your data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data and you have the right to data portability.
